This policy explains how personal data is processed when you use Gout Compass, an information and education platform on gout, hyperuricemia and related health topics.
Gout Compass does not provide medical advice and does not actively request sensitive health data. Any information you voluntarily share (e.g. through support requests) is processed only to handle your request.

3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to operate the site, deliver digital products and courses, respond to inquiries, send newsletters, ensure technical security and improve our content. Legal bases are Art. 6 (1) (a), (b) and (f) GDPR.
4. Service providers
We work with hosting providers, payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), email tools and analytics services. Where data is transferred outside the EU, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46 GDPR.

Non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) are only set with your consent via our cookie manager. You can withdraw consent at any time.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal of consent and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
